Where I'm from
I began many years ago in Art & Design.
I began with and still love drawing, painting & photography.
In 2001 I began my career in web design, designing websites using photoshop and building them writing html & css in notepad.
I enjoy using photoshop & graphic design but my focus and dedication is in writing html & development.
I began developing using PHP & MYSQL in 2008 and have been making strides in this field ever since.
History & Progress in Web Development
2011
Focusing on front end development writing html, css, javascript, and php (and using mysql).
2010
Continuing as a web designer with Peak Net Ltd working with photoshop and writing html, css, and javascript (inc jQuery).
Developing my php & mysql skills and currently
75% through developing the 3rd version of my own content management system.
Begin to develop templates and modules for Joomla websites.
2009
Continuing as a web designer with Peak Net Ltd.
Continuing to develop my php & mysql skills.
Now also self teaching and researching SEO.
2008
Continuing as a web designer with Peak Net Ltd.
Now self teaching php & mysql.
2007
Hired full time as a web designer for Peak Net Ltd using:
- Photoshop
- Writing html
- Writing css
- Writing javascript
2004
Studied Fine Art at University, developing skills in:
- Painting
- Drawing
- Video & Photography
Specialising in video & photography during my second and third years.
Continuing to develop my web design skills and working part time as a web designer and also completing freelance web design projects too.
2001
Studies in art & design developing skills in:

- Sculpture
- Video & Photography (digital cameras, video cameras, apple mac computers with final cut)
- Graphic Design with Photoshop
Studies in Psychology, developed skills to better understand and evaluate subjects.
Web Design With the increased use of the web in research and using computers for graphic design
I began to self teach web design and writing html & css.
The end of 2001 saw me entering the world of freelance web design; first for a group of artists and then for other individuls and groups.
